Should I use a bank or a Broker to arrange my mortgage?
There are many differences between your bank’s mortgage service and a mortgage broker’s. A bank will only be able to offer you on their own products and services and advice may be limited. Where as The Mortgage Pod will be able to review more than 85 different lenders product’s and options. More than likely, this will even include your bank!
How do I work out which mortgage is the best for me?
As you may start to notice, there are many different types of mortgages. All working in different ways and doing different things. The Mortgage Pod will help you understand all of these options and then advice you on which will be most suitable for you needs.
Do I have to speak to the mortgage broker the selling agents recommends?
Some selling agents may suggest, or even insist that you speak to the broker working for the selling agents themselves. This is never mandatory for you to do, and no condition can be added to the sale of the property for you to do so.
What is a mortgage?
A mortgage is a loan which is secured on a property. You should think carefully before securing a loan on your home.
Do I have to take life insurance when I take a mortgage?
Although highly recommended in most circumstances, it is not a condition of your mortgage to take life insurance and therefore this is not a must do. The Mortgage Pod will help you understand if this is right for you.
